Partnership agreement between Tunisair and Thomas Cook

Tunisair signed, on Thursday, a partnership agreement with Blegian tour operator Thomas Cook, on establishing privileged co-operation relations between the two companies on regular and charter flights and organising several joint promotional campaigns dedicated to make better known the Tunisia destination in Europe.
Tunisair CEO Rabah Jerad pointed out that this is the second co-operation agreement (2012-2015) signed between the two companies, voicing wish that Thomas Cook ''Will do its utmost to attract the largest number of Belgian and European tourists to Tunisia''.
To this end, he explained that Thomas Cook should disseminate a real image of post-revolution Tunisia, away from the rumors about the country's instability.
''Demonstrations exist in all democratic countries'', he argued, suggesting to the Belgian officials to tour Tunisian tourist sites to ''get confirmation that tourists could enjoy exceptional stay conditions in Tunisia''.
Thomas Cook manager Johan Ysenbrandt said that ''out of the total of 70 destinations served by Thomas Cook, Tunisia ranks fourth after Turkey, Greece and Spain.''
